Hello! I pray this week finds you strong and encouraged. May the Lord empower you in all you do. Amen.
We often pray for strength during oppression. This can happen at school, work, home, or even in church. In those moments, we may see others as the oppressors. However, we rarely examine ourselves.
Yet, if you hold influence, pause and reflect. Ask yourself an honest question: Am I using my authority well? Self-examination brings clarity and growth.
Scripture reminds us that no leader stands above God’s justice. Whether spiritual, political, or social, all authority answers to Him. Moreover, God never ignores the cries of the oppressed.
“The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.” — Psalm 9:9 (NIV)
If God protects the oppressed, we must do the same. Therefore, stand for truth and defend the vulnerable. In addition, examine how you use your influence daily.
Remember, God entrusts every authority to you for a purpose. One day, you will give an account. So, lead with humility and compassion. Serve others just as Christ served.
In conclusion, choose integrity over power. Use your influence to uplift, not oppress. As a result, your leadership will reflect God’s heart.
