Starting the Week with Confidence

Are you beginning this week with expectations, yet feeling unsure how to achieve them? Perhaps you’re aiming to meet your targets, waiting for long-awaited positive feedback, or hoping to finally overcome challenges you’ve been carrying.

In moments like these, Scripture reminds us where our true confidence lies:

“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?”
(Romans 8:31–32, NIV)

Reflection

These verses reassure us that God, who gave us His greatest gift in Christ, will not withhold the lesser things we need. “All things” includes every provision, every help, and every good outcome aligned with His will for our lives. Our expectations for the week don’t have to be weighed down by worry—because they are undergirded by God’s gracious care.

Motivation

Step into this week with confidence, positioning yourself to receive favorable outcomes by trusting this truth: God is for you. Whatever stands before you—targets, feedback, or challenges—you are not facing them alone.

Go into the week with faith, courage, and expectation, knowing that with God on your side, you already stand on victory’s ground.
