Senior Pastors Reverend Michael & Lindsey Hedley
Rev. Michael and Lindsey Hedley felt called to start Word of Life Church, driven by a passion to inspire and uplift. Rev. Michael previously served as President of the WRU (2023–2025) and on the Preachers’ Fellowship Committee. Together, they now lead an online encouragement ministry, sharing hope, faith, and inspiration with believers everywhere.
Lanre Atanda
Pastor
Lanre is a devoted Christian and gifted spiritual teacher, passionate about guiding the church in understanding and living out God’s Word.
As a Pastor and leader on the Word of Life Church Leadership Team, he shepherds the congregation with wisdom, teaching, and a heart for discipleship, helping members grow in faith and spiritual maturity.
Fisayo Atanda
Pastor/Sunday School Lead
Fisayo is a devoted Christian pastor with a passion for guiding others in their spiritual growth.
She leads Sunday School with joy, helping children and adults deepen their understanding of God’s Word, and serves as worship leader, inspiring the congregation to praise God wholeheartedly.
Denis Batey
Elder/Trustee
Denis is a passionate Christian who encourages others in their walk of faith.
He serves faithfully as an elder and trustee, and leads worship with a heart that inspires the congregation to draw closer to God.
Jennifer Batey
Elder
Jennifer is a devoted Christian with a heart for serving God and His people.
She serves as an elder and leads worship with her musical gifts, drawing the congregation into God’s presence through praise.
Olaronke Gbadebo
Elder/Trustee
Olaronker is a devoted Christian and a committed prayer warrior with a passion for intercession.
She serves as an elder and trustee, and leads the welcome team with warmth, helping everyone feel at home in God’s house.
Wendy Ellis
Trustee/Safeguarding Lead
Wendy is a dedicated Christian with a passion for children and a strong commitment to sound doctrine.
As the church’s safeguarding lead, she ensures a safe and nurturing environment where young people can grow in faith and confidence.
Brian Watson
Deacon
Brian is a faithful Christian who serves the church with dedication and joy.
As a deacon, he supports the ministry with commitment, and he delights in making Sunday School a welcoming and engaging place where children love to learn about God.
Hazel Watson
Deacon
Hazel is a committed Christian who has a heart for building up women in faith and fellowship.
She serves as a deacon and leads the women’s ministry, encouraging women to grow spiritually and support one another in their walk with Christ.
