Hello! I pray this message finds you well and uplifted today.
As we begin a new work week, let us reflect on James 1:17. This scripture reminds us that every good and perfect gift comes from God. He remains constant in His goodness, faithfulness, and love.
God blesses us with both spiritual and physical provisions. He gives us salvation, wisdom, peace, strength, health, and opportunities to grow. Moreover, He can use us as channels of His goodness to bless others. Therefore, we should appreciate His provisions and share them generously.
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” — James 1:17 (NKJV)
Learn to recognise God’s goodness in both extraordinary blessings and ordinary provisions. Sometimes, we celebrate remarkable breakthroughs but overlook the everyday gifts that sustain us.
A sound mind, strength to persevere, supportive relationships, and opportunities to serve God all deserve our gratitude. Even when life presents challenges, God’s unchanging character remains a firm foundation for our faith.
Furthermore, remember that God can use you to answer someone else’s prayer. Your encouragement, generosity, time, or practical support may become the very help another person needs.
As this new week begins, ask God to bless you according to His perfect will. At the same time, look for opportunities to extend kindness and fellowship to those who feel vulnerable, discouraged, or needy.
Do not merely receive God’s goodness; reflect it through your actions. As you care for others, you demonstrate Christ’s love and invest in eternal treasures (Matthew 25:34–40).
May the Lord open your eyes to recognise His blessings, strengthen your hands to serve others, and fill your heart with gratitude. May His grace abound towards you throughout this week and beyond.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
