Hello! I pray this message finds you well and encouraged today.
How refreshing it feels when our eyes meet the bright morning light! Light gives warmth, energy, and direction. When we walk under the streetlights at night, we feel safe because light drives away darkness. In the same way, spiritual light brings peace, clarity, and hope.
Jesus said to His disciples, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14, NKJV)
This powerful truth shows that every believer carries the light of Christ. We are called to shine brightly and reveal God’s truth in a world that often walks in darkness. The light we carry is not our own—it reflects the presence and purity of Jesus living within us.
Reflection
Have you been living as the light of the world in your daily walk? Or have you allowed the pressures of the world to dim your shine?
As you go through this week, take time to reflect. Can people around you see the likeness of Christ in your speech, actions, and decisions? Or do you blend in so much that your light is hidden?
Remember, Jesus has called you to stand out as a light-bearer. When you reflect His goodness, you guide others to find hope and truth in Him.
Motivation
Decide to shine for Christ wherever you are. Let your presence bring light into every space you enter. Speak truth with courage. Keep your thoughts pure. Let kindness flow through your actions.
When you live as the light of the world, darkness loses its power. Be that “city on a hill” that cannot be hidden. Let people glorify God through your good works and your radiant life.
🎶 Sing with me:
This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine.
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine!
